One of my BUDS was asking about Google’s Cafeteria. To my astonishment (since this is kinda old news), there wasn’t a good source of info on it. Here’s what I could find:
- SF Gate Article on the subject via InsideGoogle
- A Sample Menu from an actual day
- A picture taken by a visitor
- An account from someone who has been there – warning no straws
Here’s what I know: Googleteria is a free cafeteria for all google employees, their families, and any of their guests. It has gourmet food.
I’m going to try to get a response from the official Google Blog. I’ll update this post if I find anything out.

The Google cafeteria is pretty cool. They get increased productivity from having their employees eat on the campus, and the food is pretty good. I’m told that most Google employees just love the place.

I get hungry just thinking about it. If I was a teacher at a local area school, you bet I would spend all year organizing a trip to the Googleteria. That’s the perfect middle school field trip.

I would take a paycut just to have a sweet cafeteria at my office.

Except if it were google, it would anything BUT a pay cut.
But I here you, food is one of those timeless perks that hits home with just about anything.
