The stability is obviously cross trainer model witht eh toe strap. if you look at the bottom of the soles the 5.0 has foam cushions and 4.5 is just a small piece of insole. 5.0=neutral cushion. 4.5=lightweight traner. nike free=the best decision ive made all year.
