I used to be afraid of snakes, but then I read a report that said almost 100% of the time snake bites are caused by drunken men poking sticks at the beasts.
Sure enough a week or so ago there was a story that ran of a snake bite. It was a man. He was drunk. And was poking sticks at the beast.
