I’ve been listening to ‘Waterloo To Anywhere’ ever since it came out a few weeks ago. This album has taken up a lot of my listening time, but it makes me wonder - why would anyone even care that The Libertines broke up in the first place? The Libertines was one of the best groups to come around in years. Made up by Carl Barat (the dude you’ll hear in the tracks below) and Pete Doherty, who basically left because he became too much to handle as a kind of waste-of-space cokehead.

I’d say The Libertines self-titled debut album is easily one of the greatest punk/rock albums of all time. The second album is good, but in comparison so-so. Now with Carl’s new project Dirty Pretty Things, along with former Libertines drummer Gary Powell, I can see a lot of cool things coming up for this band. Stay clean ya’ll!
