Here’s a picture of my completed digital picture frame. I used McDPF (built on DSL Linux) for the project. It works nicely with wireless administration controlling uploading of pictures, shutdown and reboots, as well as some other features like a scheduled screen power down and up every night and morning.

I did have some trouble installing it at first. Make sure you have the right version of DSL Linux. Some people (myself included) initially installed DSL 4.25 instead of DSL 4.4.2. Also, remember that the web interface for changing the shutdown schedule isn’t completed yet. At this time, you have to manually edit the cron job. I didn’t have to edit it though, because mine automatically shut down at night by default. Finally, you might want to check and make sure the system clock has the correct time.

I had trouble installing as well. The current version of DSL is 4.25. 4.3x is in pre-release mode. When you say 4.4.2, did you mean 4.2?
Thanks
