Wes Anderson and Jason Schwartzman recommend CD’s and DVD’s at Borders. Via. I’m not really sure what to make of this video, but once I got over the initial annoyance of it, it was a little entertaining. (Be forewarned: it’s not that entertaining.) Too bad, Darjeeling Limited was horrible, horrible. Should have drawn more from Thomas the Tank Engine on that one, how can you screw up a movie about trains?

    horrible, horrible“?!?!

It wasn’t fantastic but it was definitely more than a few steps above (horrible * 2). What’s your favorite Wes Anderson?

I was a huge fan of Bottle Rocket when it came out, and I loved Rushmore, but my favorite has to be The Life Aquatic, although I’m probably in a minority on that one. The Royal Tenebaums is good but way too depressing, and I really do think Darjeeling sucked along with that Hotel Chavilier (no matter how much nudity they put in it.)
